About Martin Spizman Martin got his start sailing small boats in the lakes of Southern California, eventually moving to the Bay area in search of more sailing opportunities. Within weeks of arriving he was volunteering at the Hyde Street Pier Maritime Museum where he got his first taste of Tallship sailing on the Museum's flagship, the schooner Alma. Since then, he has set foot on nearly every Tallship that called the San Francisco Bay home, and even crewed as a First Mate on a few. Along the way he became an American Sailing Association (ASA) certified instructor so he could share his love of sailing with students. He now works for Davis Instruments in Hayward as a Test Engineer and Technical support representative for both their Marine and Weather product divisions. A Zoom link will be provided the day before the first event. Can't make it? We'll send you a recording afterwards. 1/4 of fee will be sent to a non-profit of the speaker's choice - Martin has chosen Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors (BAADS) Thursday, March 31, 6-7pm PT Do you want to learn how to sail, embrace the sailing lifestyle, or become more confident with your sailing skills?
