Island Nights Series

​Alameda Estuary sailing at its finest!

Our Spring and Summer series has races every other Friday evening from April through September. Join us for competitive, fun, and very scenic sailing! Every experience level is welcome.

Our start/finish line is between Coast Guard Island and Alameda Marina (see map below at right).

After the race, meet at the after-race venue of the day for awards and camaraderie (venue will vary, and will be announced at the race).  Hint: If you’re looking for a crewing opportunity, the after-party is a great way to meet skippers!

Other Races

Besides Island Days and Island Nights, Island Yacht Club also runs the Sadie Hawkins women skippers race, the Women's Sailing Seminar, the Jill + Jack + 1 race, and more. We also encourage members to check out the YRA calendar for other estuary and bay races, there is so much happening!
