Island Yacht Club has been an all-volunteer club for 50 years. We rely on the skill and energy of our members to maintain our year-round sailboat regattas, educational events and Women's Sailing Seminar. Please help us build our club, while learning new skills, meeting fellow members and contributing to our strong, year-round sailing programs.

No previous experience required - simply turn up on race day!
Most sailboat racing is run by yacht clubs and other local sailing organizations. Island Yacht Club - like many clubs - relies entirely on volunteers to provide our race management.

Online events coordinator
Ready to be the star of the show? Support us in hosting our regular online events for Island Yacht Club and Women's Sailing Seminar, which include diesel mechanics classes and monthly Zoom meetups. You will not only receive complimentary admission, but stand front and center as the "face of IYC". A great role for people who love making new friends and connections in the boating community! You will be reporting to our Commodore, Melissa Grudin.
This is a remote role, but may pivot into in-person events coordination, as shelter-in-place restrictions ease.

Each role will report to a point-of-contact on the WSS Committee.
All roles will be remote, until shelter-in-place restrictions ease.
We invite you to fulfill one of the following critical roles:
