Member Dinner Aug 16th – Peruvian Feast
Don’t forget our monthly Member Dinner is this coming Saturday August 16th. This month, I’m preparing a Peruvian Feast for your enjoyment. If you haven’t tried Peruvian cuisine before, you’re in for a treat. The cuisine of Peru is a fusion of the original foods of the many groups of indigenous people combined with influences from Europe, Africa, and Asia. The dishes are incredibly diverse and flavorful, but not overly spicy. On the menu Aug 16th :
Ceviche Mixto: fresh fish & shrimp marinated in a my special mix of citrus juices, onions, and spices
Parihuela: A popular Peruvian mixed seafood soup similar to Cioppino
Seco de Carne: Beef slowly braised with vegetables, herbs, & spices
Pescado Sudado: Steamed fish with a fusion style sauce of tropical fruit, chiles, and ginger
Locro: A traditional vegetable stew from the Andes region(vegetarian)
Tamales Verdes A version of traditional Peruvian green tamales done casserole style (vegetarian)

Bar opens for drinks at 5:30pm and we’ll be offering traditional Pisco Sours as well as Maracuya (Passion Fruit) Pisco Sours. Dinner served at 7pm, and only $15/person.
