Our 2007 Keynote speaker is Dana Riley. Dana is the Marine & Aquatic Sports Supervisor for
the City of Oakland. You might find her over at the Lake Merritt Boating Center or at the
Jack London Aquatic Center. Under Dana’s direction, the City of Oakland’s programs stress
self-empowerment, safe boating and marine ecology--perfectly coinciding with the main
objectives of Island Yacht Club’s Women’s Sailing Seminar©, which is all about
empowering women on the water.

Oct. 6 Schedule:
0730-0830 hrs: Registration.
0830-0900 hrs: Welcome (Keynote Speaker: Dana Riley!)
0915-1230 hrs: Sessions I and II
* On-Shore and On-The-Water classes taught by women instructors to women students
1230-1330 hrs: Lunch and Raffle (First 1/2)
* Delicious lunch and comraderie
* Huge Raffle with prizes from many sponsors
1345-1700 hrs: Sessions III and IV
* MORE On-Shore and On-The-Water classes
1700-1800 hrs: Hors d'oeuvres and Raffle (Second 1/2).
Oct. 6 Price: $95, includes lunch. Late fee of $15 for applications submitted after October 1, 2007. Enrollment is limited, send your application in early to ensure your space!
