AMENDMENT TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

and

DIVISIONS, COURSE ASSIGNMENTS, and START TIMES

 

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

JULY 20 AND 21, 2002

 

 

 

AMENDMENT TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS:

 

START/FINISH LINE IS AMENDED TO READ: For Division A only, the Start Line shall be from the Temporary red/orange triangular buoy approximately 150 yards N-NW off the yellow/blue sphere "X" buoy off the Golden Gate YC (YRA “X”) to the orange marker on the GGYC race deck. Division A boats shall take the Temporary Mark to starboard when starting. Note that boats in Division A should be aware of the "X" buoy on the starting line, and take steps to avoid it. The finish line will remain unchanged (from the yellow/blue sphere “X” buoy to the orange mark on the GGYC race deck. Mark “X” shall be taken to starboard when finishing

The Start/Finish Line remains unchanged for Divisions B through E: (The Start/Finish line shall be from the yellow/blue sphere “X” buoy off the Golden Gate YC to the orange mark on the GGYC race deck.  Mark “X” shall be taken to starboard when starting and when finishing.)
