AMENDMENT DATE: March 10, 2003

The Sailing Instructions for the 2003 Double Handed Lightship Race, March 15, 2003 are hereby amended as follows:

RESTRICTIONS

All Golden Gate bridge abutments are to be kept clear by 25 yards

DIVISIONS

There will be seven divisions

Division A – Sprit Boats*

Division B – Ultra Lights

Division C – PHRF below 132

Division D – PHRF 133-167

Division E – PHRF 168-197

Division F – PHRT 198 and above

Division G – Multi-hulls

*Sprit boats are defined as boats carrying a sprit pole and asymmetric spinnakers.

STARTING TIMES AND SIGNALS

Warming 10:30 hours

Preparatory 10:31

Division A 10:35

Division B 10:40

Division C 10:45

Division D 10:50

Division E 10:55

Division F 11:00

Division G 11:05

PENALTIES AND PROTEST

Protests must be made in writing and postmarked by March 19, 2003

These amendments are hereby made part of the sailing instructions for the 2003 Double Handed Lightship Race.
